A Career Across the Great Screens
Marco Del Freo’s television presence spans two continents and two eras of broadcasting: Italy in the 1990s, with its great prime-time shows on Rai Uno and Canale 5, and South America in the late 1980s, where his name was already synonymous with international success.

The Great Italian Television Shows
In the 1990s, Marco Del Freo became one of the regular faces of Italian prime-time television. He appeared in Mille lire al mese (Rai Uno), a historic show hosted by Pippo Baudo alongside Giancarlo Magalli and Sabina Stilo, directed by Michele Guardì with orchestral direction by the legendary Maestro Gianni Ferrio — a monument of Italian music and collaborator with artists of the calibre of Mina. He also appeared in the show Viva Napoli (Canale 5, 1996), hosted by Mike Bongiorno and Massimo Lopez, where he achieved second place with a memorable performance of Marechiaro. He completed his Italian television cycle with La Canzone del Secolo (Canale 5, 1999), again with Pippo Baudo, Alba Parietti and Valeria Marini.
🌎 South America

Triumph in Chile and the Latin American Tour
The year 1988 marks the beginning of an extraordinary international chapter for Marco Del Freo. Following his victory at the Festival de Viña del Mar with the song Senza te, his face became familiar on the main television channels of the South American continent. In Chile he appeared on the famous Martes Trece, one of the most watched television programmes in the country, where his presence consolidated the fame gained at the Festival. The success of the album Sin Ti (CBS Chile), published in Spanish, led him to appear on television in Argentina, Colombia and other countries in the region, until his return to Italy in 1989 with the re-release of the album under the title Profumo di donna (C&M / Ricordi).
